You need to make sure that you only touch the bottom of the glass because most people view a touch from another person at the top of their glass as contamination.
Stay Off of Your Phone
When taking a shift behind the bar you need to remember to stay off of your telephone. You want to be engaging with your customers and give them your undivided attention. If they see you on a cell phone, then they will automatically think that your attention is not focused on them like it should be. The only time that you should use a cell phone is to find a drink recipe that you do not know off of the top of your head.
Be Open to New Ideas
